Open Question: When do you think the negative portrayal of Muslims in news and media will stop?

I mean its absolutely ridiculous that such a stereotype has been put for all muslims, of course there are bad people in islam, but there are bad people in every religion etc. its not even about the religion, its the person, they represent themselves no one is forcing them to act as they do..So why is a certain group of people suppose to represent an entire population that follows islam? having al qauida or "extreme" Afghans represent muslims is like filming racist hicks in alabama representing americans when do you think this whole "war on terror" will end & all this generalization and racism will be old news?
